Predicted Leicester City Lineup

Defence

Kasper Schmeichel is expected to start in goal. The custodian is likely to be tested regularly by Liverpool’s fearsome attacking trio, comprising of Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane.

Wes Morgan and Maguire could partner each other in the central defence once again. Maguire has been superb this season, having mustered 1.2 tackles, 1.4 interceptions and 5.1 clearances per game on an average.

While Ben Chilwell is likely to keep his place at the left-back, Danny Simpson could start in the right-back role. The full-backs have to get forward on as many occasions as possible to question Liverpool’s defence which isn’t at its strongest right now.

Midfield

Wilfred Ndidi and Nampalys Mendy could start in the central midfield. Both of them are physically strong players who have the calibre to boss the midfield and they have to be at their best to stop Liverpool’s attackers, who are in a fine form.

James Maddison could get the nod to start as the central attacking midfielder. The 22-year-old has scored five goals and has mustered four assists in 21 Premier League games this season, and he could be the impetus for his side in the final third.

Attack

Jamie Vardy has scored a total of seven goals against Liverpool, and he is expected to start up top to create problems for the home side’s defence.

The former England international is expected to be supported by Demarai Gray on the left flank and Ricardo Pereira on the right.
