CONFIRMED Chelsea and Manchester City Lineups: Huge Change From Sarri

Chelsea and Manchester City will square off at Stamford Bridge today and the anticipation is building with the lineups now confirmed.

The Blues will hope to bounce back after a shock defeat against Wolves in the midweek while Manchester City will look to get back to the top of the table after watching a Liverpool side run riot against Bournemouth earlier in the day.

Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri has made the decision to not go with a recognised striker as he has named a front three of Pedro, Willian and Eden Hazard. It’s likely that Hazard will play as the false nine.

Chelsea confirmed Lineup: Kepa; Azpilicueta, Luiz, Rudiger, Alonso; Kante, Jorginho, Kovacic, Pedro, Hazard, Willian

Pep Guardiola too has decided to go with a false nine, it seems, as neither Sergio Aguero nor Gabriel Jesus is in the starting XI. City could line upĀ in a 4-2-3-1 with Silva and Fernandinho staring in the midfield pivot. Sterling might play up top.

Manchester City confirmed Lineup: Ederson; Walker, Stones, Laporte, Delph; Fernandinho, Silva, Mahrez, Bernardo; Sane, Sterling
