Missed Opportunity: Leeds United Player Ratings vs Nottingham Forest

Leeds United could only pick up a point against Nottingham Forest after a late strike by Kemar Roofe cancelled Jack Robinson’s goal early in the first half. The Whites were far from their best as they failed to make it two wins in as many games following their midweek victory over Ipswich Town.

Leeds United Player Ratings

Bailey Peacock-Farrell 6/10

He can hardly be blamed for the goal he conceded. Had little to do otherwise during the game as Nottingham hardly threatened.

Luke Ayling 6/10

Was industrious before he forced to leave the pitch due to an injury.

Pontus Jansson 7/10

He battled with Lewis Grabban and it was a hotly contested affair. He made a handful of interceptions and read the game well.

Liam Cooper 6/10

Partnering Jansson in the central defence, Cooper struggled against Grabban. He lacked the same authority as Jansson.

Stuart Dallas 5/10

He moved to left-back from right-back after Ayling’s injury and lacked the composure, often misplacing passes.

Kalvin Phillips 6/10

Phillips was outclassed by Adlene Guedioura in the second half and he was far from his usual assertive best. Finished the game with four tackles.

Pablo Hernandez 7/10

The Spaniard toiled relentlessly and operated with a lot of intent. He asked a few questions but the final ball was missing.

Adam Forshaw 6/10

He was often beaten by Jack Colback and Guedioura. The midfielder displayed a lot of energy but his end product was certainly missing.

Mateusz Klich 6/10

Klich had a quiet first half but came back with a lot of purpose in the second half. Was dispossessed three times in the game and it wasn’t his best of displays.

Ezgjan Alioski 5/10

He couldn’t reach the end of most of his attacking forays down the left. He lost the ball needlessly on a few occasions too.

Kemar Roofe 7/10

The striker did try to create space for himself but was kept in check by Danny Fox and Tobias Pereira. However, he managed to find the back of the net due to his predatory instincts.

Substitutions

Tom Pearce 6/10

A composed display after replacing Ayling in the first-half.

Samuel Saiz 6/10

Saiz hardly made his presence felt after coming on for Phillips on the 65th minute.

Jake Clarke 7/10

He replaced Pearce in the 65th minute and troubled Costel Pantilimon with a couple of good shots.
