Arsenal might be carving a superb run of form under the tutelage of Unai Emery but one of the major headaches for the club in recent weeks has been the reluctance of Aaron Ramsey in signing a new deal. Ramsey’s current deal with the Gunners is due to expire at the end of the current season.
Intriguingly, Emery has informed the club that they could stop their talks with the 27-year-old after a series of attempts to extend his contract. Therefore, the north London based outfit are reportedly set to lose the Welsh international either in the January transfer window or next summer.
As per one of the latest reports by Metro, the former Paris Saint-Germain manager has identified Napoli star Piotr Zielinski to replace Ramsey. Zielinski plied his trade for the senior side of Udinese and Empoli (on loan) before switching to the ranks of Napoli in the summer of 2016.
Capable of operating in a number of positions, versatility is unarguably one of the strongest suits of the Polish international. He is an established footballer with immense work-ethic and at the onset, is seems that he will be an astute replacement for Ramsey.
