Arsenal were beaten by Manchester City and Chelsea in their first two league games of the season but they have staged a notable comeback after their trip to the Stamford Bridge. The Gunners have won all of their last four games across all competitions and have started to click.
Their latest outing ended in a 4-2 win against Vorskla in the group stage of the Europa League at the Emirates Stadium. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang bagged a brace, while a goal each from Danny Welbeck and Mesut Ozil took the game away from the visiting side completely.
Intriguingly, Arsenal winger Alex Iwobi has stated that the players are working really hard under the tutelage of their new manager Unai Emery. The Nigerian international has also disclosed that the north London based outfit is adjusting the tactical nous of their new navigator.
Iwobi, after his side’s win over Vorskla, said: “He’s a new manager, a new system. Obviously, we are winning games now, we just have to keep being consistent and keep on pushing. He demands a lot, we are working a lot harder in training, running a bit more. But as you can see, we are buying into his ideas and we are enjoying our time with him.”
