West Ham United were one of the busiest clubs during the summer transfer window and there is no denying that they roped in some world-class players to their ranks, such as Felipe Anderson, Andriy Yarmolenko, Carlos Sanchez and Jack Wilshere. However, their opening Premier League outing this season was utterly disastrous.
The Hammers were hammered 4-0 by Liverpool at the Anfield last weekend and Manuel Pellegrini’s troops were arguably clueless against the attacking force of Jurgen Klopp. With a home fixture against Bournemouth due to take place tomorrow, West Ham United should back themselves for a win.
Meanwhile, club’s record-signing Anderson believes that the side will get better with every match and training session. The Brazilian, while speaking to West Ham United’s official website, said: “We are training now to understand each other and the team’s system, and we are also talking a lot so we can adapt as quickly as possible.”
“I am more concerned with adapting to the team’s way of playing and being able to perform at my best in it and, in doing so, help them achieve better results.” The fresh faces are expected to take time to adjust to the gameplan of their new side and in all fairness, great results are expected from the Irons this term.
