With another day to go before the Premier League deadline closes, the Manchester United fans will be pretty nervous as their club haven’t really added the players they wanted.
Jose Mourinho wanted to sign a defender and a winger, at the very least, but talks of a potential transfer for no.1 target Toby Alderweireld haven’t yet happened. Now, with the deadline approaching, the Red Devils are trying to sign Harry Maguire but Leicester City remain adamant that they won’t lose a player of such importance with very little time left to sign a replacement.
United were earlier rebuffed in their attempts to sign Maguire but Sky Sports recently revealed that the defender himself still harbours hopes of a move to Old Trafford.

Could we see a transfer request from the England World Cup hero? Well, after a World Cup like that, you can’t blame him for wanting a big move immediately. Even if he does put in a transfer request, we feel it’s going to take a massive bid for Leicester to let him leave.

Claude Puel’s defensive resources are limited even with the signing of former Manchester United centre-back Jonny Evans, so the gaffer can’t afford to lose Maguire at this stage of the transfer window.
