Earlier this month, Australian starlet Daniel Arzani completed his permanent move to Manchester City from the ranks of Melbourne City after impressing in A-League. To gain experience and to keep his developmental process is ascendency, the Cityzens shipped Arzani out to Celtic on a two-year loan deal.
Arzani is one of the hottest properties in the game and Brendan Rodgers’ camp has certainly struck gold by luring him to the Celtic Park. Under the tutelage of Rodgers, the 19-year-old should be able to get the required opportunities to showcase his talents and to brush himself further.
The attacker had plenty of options to choose from after his World Cup debut but he chose the Bhoys as his destination. Interestingly, the Australian international has stated that it was Celtic star and his national teammate Tom Rogic who convinced him for a move to Celtic.
Rogic is an instrumental player on the pitch for the Celts and he proved to be an asset off the pitch as well. Arzani said: “Tom’s a close friend and had nothing but good things to say about the club. In fact, he pointed out that if it wasn’t a great place to be at he wouldn’t have signed his new deal and that was good enough for me.”
