Celtic have won just two of their last seven outings across all competitions and there is no denying that they seem to lack the cutting edge that they had last term. Unlike them, their arch-rivals Rangers have really appeared to be convincing under the tutelage of Steven Gerrard.
The Gers have made some shrewd moves over the course of the summer transfer window and the dividends have already started to emerge. Meanwhile, in the next seven days, the Bhoys are due to play three home games on trot, with a fixture against Hamilton Academical scheduled tomorrow, Suduva in Europa League on Thursday before they take on Rangers next Sunday.
So far in the transfer window, the Celts have managed to bring merely four new players to the Celtic Park, namely, Odsonne Edouard, Emilio Izaguirre, Scott Bain and Daniel Arzani. With Europa League and domestic competitions to cater to, they do need some more signings.
As per one of the latest reports by The Telegraph, Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers is keen to churn three or four more signings before 31st August. The former Liverpool boss has also informed the club’s board about his desire and it will be intriguing to see if they actually meet the needs of their manager or not.
