Anthony Martial has been a major talking point of this summer transfer window as the Red Devils look to bring in Tottenham Hotspur ace centre-back Toby Alderweireld in a straight swap.
Manchester United are looking to bring in another centre-back who will significantly strengthen their squad and help them achieve their targets set for the upcoming season. Amongst other targets, Toby Alderweireld is one name the Red Devils are looking to bring in and have been pursuing the player for a few months now.
A straight swap deal with the London outfit may seem viable for them but Jose Mourinho has expressed his will of not letting the French forward leave for another club in the Premier League.
The Red Devils have been pursuing a suitable deal for the centre-back but the Manchester club reportedly backed out of a deal when the Tottenham Hotspur chief Daniel Levy valued Alderweireld at 75 million euros.
Many news outlets have claimed that Tottenham can be lured into the deal again by the Red Devils if they are willing to swap Anthony Martial for Alderweireld.
But Jose Mourinho has stressed that the player will not be sold and they are also looking at other targets without including any of the Red Devils players as part of the deal.
