One Key Change In Attack: 4-2-3-1 Hull City Predicted Lineup To Face Burton Albion

After a comprehensive 4-0 win over Queens Park Rangers, Hull City are due to make a trip to the Pirelli Stadium on Tuesday to face Burton Albion. Nigel Adkins’ men should be aiming to bag all three points against the Brewers as every match in the business end of the season holds paramount importance for the Tigers.

Hull City Team News

Jarrod Bowen is likely to sit out as he is nursing his foot injury. Evandro, Moses Odubjao and James Weir are out of contention to feature owing to their injuries.

Here is how we expect Adkins to roll out his starting line-up against Burton Albion.

Goalkeeper

Allan McGregor should keep his place under the bar yet again. The 36-year-old custodian has grabbed 11 clean sheets in 40 league appearances, making 2.5 saves per game on an average. He has been one of the better players for Hull City this season and deserves to get the nod to start.

Defence

Adkins is expected to dish out a four-man defensive wall with similar faces yet again. The central defence is likely to be marshalled by the duo comprising of Michael Hector and Michael Dawson.

Max Clark at left-back and Ola Aina in the right-back slot were spectacular against the Hoops in their last league fixture as they looked threatening more often than not. Besides, they were very sound defensively and these two should be chalked in the starting line-up yet again.

Midfield

Jon Toral has been effective in the CAM position and he has performed his role well all along while keeping in mind his defensive responsibilities as well.

Markus Henriksen and Sebastian Larsson are both experienced campaigners. They do have the calibre to dictate the tempo of the game and should start in the central defensive midfield once again.

Attack

Abel Hernandez is a prolific striker when he is in form. The 27-year-old has plundered 7 goals in 8 games in the English second division this season and his predatory instincts are going to come in handy against Burton Albion.

Meanwhile, we expect Kamil Grosicki to get the green light to start from Adkins. He proved to be the game changer against the Rs and deserves to get more game time under his belt. From the left-wing, Harry Wilson is anticipated to start.
