Liverpool Eyeing A Move For PSG Star: Does He Suit Klopp’s Style?

Liverpool are perhaps one of the most deadly attacking sides in Europe, capable of dismantling any defence on their day. The trio of Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino have been at their fluent best.

However, Jürgen Klopp is keen to add to the firepower and more squad depth in the process. Reports indicate Liverpool could go after PSG star Julian Draxler who is out of favour in Paris.

Under Unai Emery, Draxler hasn’t had the required game time that he craves for. The presence of stars like Neymar, Angel Di Maria, Kylian Mbappe and Edinson Cavani hasn’t helped his cause either.

Pace, Precision and Directness

These are three attributes often associated with the current Liverpool side that are scoring goals for fun. Julian Draxler epitomises just that. A great injection of pace into the midfield coupled with incisiveness could add more bite to the Liverpool attack. His energy is just what is required to thrive under Klopp’s system of gegenpressing.

An exceptionally skilled player, he is an excellent dribbler and a natural finisher. He is not just a wide player but can operate through the middle if needed by Klopp.

Ideal replacement for Coutinho?

There has been much talk of Liverpool’s inability to find an immediate replacement for Coutinho. However, the Brazilian’s boots are not the easiest to fill and not many possess the skills he does.

Although the World Cup winner started off predominantly as a winger, he has been deployed in the middle of midfield for PSG and has done quite well. He has shown some great passing qualities and has racked up 5 assists to go with his 3 goals in his 17 starts for the club this season. Despite being rotated constantly, Draxler has produced some stellar performances.

A move that will benefit both parties

With a lot of talk regarding the financial fair play, PSG would benefit hugely from offloading a few of their stars if they are to bring in world class players with hefty price tags.

On the other hand, here is a player in his mid-20s looking for more game time at the highest level. A manager like Klopp can provide just that, knowing truly well about his compatriot in his time at Schalke and Wolfsburg.

The fashion designer said in a new interview with The Times that Viagra read has happened to women in the last 15 years.
