Brighton & Hove Albion To Battle It Out For England Attacker: A Wise Move By The Seagulls?

Premier League duo Brighton and Bournemouth are set to battle it out for Celtic winger Scott Sinclair this summer.

Both the sides have shown a keen interest in the services of the former Manchester City starlet, who could be on the verge of leaving Celtic this summer. Sinclair’s current contract with theĀ Hoops expires in 2020, but as Brendan Rodgers looks to shuffle his deck next season, the Premier League seems the likely destination for the English attacker.

Brighton, in particular, will be desperate to sign a quality attacker this summer, especially after impressing in the top flight this season. Therefore, head coach Chris Hughton will be looking to bolster his sides’ attacking department as they gear up for their second season in the Premier League and a move for Sinclair could make a world of sense for the Seagulls.

Sinclair has found success since moving to the Scottish Premiership in 2016. The English attacker has notched up an incredible 42 goals in 95 appearances for Celtic whilst providing 26 assists. Thanks to the leadership of former Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers, Sinclair has emerged as one of the most feared attackers in the Scottish Premiership.

Brighton and Hove Albion, on the other hand, have somewhat lacked the attacking incision this season. Only Burnley and West Brom have scored fewer goals than Brighton this campaign, meaning the Seagulls are in definite need of someone who can make an impact in the attacking department.

While Pascal Gross has arguably been the most vital player for Brighton this season, others have lacked to provide the quality to break down opposition defences. Sinclair, in that regard, could be an ideal addition to Brighton this summer.

Sinclair is someone who can add thrust into Brighton’s attacking department. In addition, Sinclair is a very good versatile winger. During his time with Celtic, the English attacker has played in a host of attacking positions, which could be useful, particularly in the Premier League.

The 29-year-old has also the exposure of playing in the Premier League, meaning his previous stints with a host of Premier League clubs will help him quickly hit the mark with his new team.

The former Swansea ace will no doubt prove to be an excellent signing for the Seagulls. The attacking trio of Pascal Gross, Jose Izquierdo and Scott Sinclair will definitely make Brighton a feared team in the offensive department and therefore, manager Chris Hughton will be keen to snatch the services of this highly talented Celtic winger.

Its perfect time to make some plans for the future and its time to be happy with view.
