#2 Sergio Aguero
Despite few suggestions that the Argentine might not be fancied by Guardiola as City’s number 9, he has pretty much cemented that position. With 21 goals in the Premier League this term, only behind Kane and Salah, Aguero has been lethal in front of goal for the Sky Blues.
As Manchester City’s all-time leading goal-scorer, City will look forward to his attacking qualities to notch up the goals and make the difference in the final third.
#1 Kevin De Bryne
One of the favourites to win this year’s player of the season award, the Belgian has changed gears drastically since last season. He has been explosive this season and has looked dangerous with his passing and creativity.
Leading the assist chart this season in the Premier League, he could be the key man for City in breaking up defences given that the games in the Champions League are going to be a tough challenge.
Pep will hope that his quality and flair can influence this City side that are looking to go all the in the Champions League.
