Key Change In Defence? Predicted 4-2-3-1 Tottenham Hotspur Lineup Vs Crystal Palace

Tottenham Hotspur will have the chance to get back to winning ways when they travel to Selhurst Park to face Crystal Palace this weekend.

The Lilywhites are currently winless in their last couple of matches and have won just two of their last five matches in all competitions. Currently sitting in the fifth position, Mauricio Pochettino’s men will have a glorious opportunity to put pressure on Chelsea.

Crystal Palace, on the other hand, are also coming on the back of a rough patch, with just one win in their last five matches, which includes a 4:1 drubbing against Arsenal. The Eagles are currently sitting 15th in the Premier League table and will be desperate for a win, as they look to steer clear of the relegation scrap.

Here’s the predicted Tottenham Hotspur lineup to feature against Crystal Palace this weekend.

Defence

As always, Hugo Lloris will be the man between the sticks for Tottenham. The Frenchman was rested in the FA Cup tie against Rochdale but his services will once again be imperative as the Lilywhites look to preserve their clean sheet against the Eagles.

Toby Alderweireld returned to the starting eleven after a long time in the game against Rochdale. The Belgian, however, is expected to be given a breather this weekend and will be replaced by his compatriot Jan Vertonghen, who will be partnered by Davinson Sanchez in central defence.

Kieran Trippier, who started against Rochdale might have to settle for the bench this weekend, making way for Serge Aurier as the right-back while Ben Davies will replace Danny Rose on the other flank.

Midfield

The likes of Victor Wanyama, Harry Winks and Moussa Sissoko were all given a starting berth in the game against Rochdale but that might not be the case this weekend as the midfield duo of Eric Dier and Mousa Dembele is expected to return this weekend.

The Belgian, in particular, received a lot of praises from head coach Mauricio Pochettino for his recent performances. He will be looking to continue his impressive form against Crystal Palace.

Attack

Harry Kane will lead the line for Spurs this weekend. The English International will be partnered by the trio of Christian Eriksen, Dele Alli and Heung-Min Son in deeper positions. Kane scored the important goal against Rochdale as Spurs narrowly avoided a disappointing defeat against the minnows.
