The Premier League is breaking all sorts of records for transfers as even the January transfer window saw teams in England spend big, to improve their squads. The same will probably happen at the end of the season, in the summer transfer window, where the English clubs have no more than 18 days between the deadline day and the World Cup, to get their deals done.
So it does not come as a surprise that many teams in the country are keeping tabs on their top transfer targets for a move before the start of the next season. There are a number of players who are eagerly waiting for their big Premier League break and one such player is Brazilian star Malcom.
Speaking to the media recently, the Bordeaux winger revealed that it is his dream to play for a bigger club and that he is ready to move to England in the summer. So where can he end up next season? Here are the three teams who should start scouting him:
Chelsea:
Antonio Conte’s men have not been able to build on their title-winning campaign from last time around. They might even struggle to get into the Champions League next season and are in desperate need of an injection of quality in a couple of roles in the first team. The lack of form of Willian and Pedro has seen them struggle on the wings and this is a problem Malcom can solve. He is a gifted footballer and at just 20, is a player who can establish a legacy at Stamford Bridge.
Arsenal:
The Gunners had been extensively linked with a move for the Brazilian star even in January but the deal did not materialize. However, they will surely look to sign him in the summer, now that he is finally up for a move. Though they have added Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to their squad, they are still short of genuine wingers and Malcom can solve this problem. He will be the first choice winger at the club and can learn a lot under Arsene Wenger, making Arsenal a superb destination for the 20-year old.
Manchester United:
The Red Devils also lack genuine wingers in their side and have used the likes of Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford on the flanks this season. Alexis Sanchez’s addition will certainly give them more options but Mourinho might let the likes of Juan Mata leave at the end of the season and Malcom will not have too much competition and will get his chance to prove himself. Jose Mourinho can certainly get the best out of him and Manchester United will be a good choice for the ambitious youngster.
