Manchester City are apparently readying a bid to sign experienced full-back Dani Alves from Juventus. City manager Pep Guardiola is keen on signing Alves. The pair had worked together at Barcelona, winning 14 trophies across four seasons.

Dani Alves has had a successful first season at Juventus winning 2 titles and ending up as the runners-up in the UEFA Champions League. Despite all that, his future at Turin remains uncertain.

Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur are also said to be in the running for the Brazillian full back.

According to reports, Manchester City chairman, Khaldoon Al Mubarak, has promised to back Guardiola financially this summer. Hence, Manchester City looks to be the front runners for the 34-year-old as Guardiola looks to set up for next season.
