Newly promoted, Newcastle United are in for a massive bulk-up this summer. As per latest news, Rafa Benitez is apparently interested in signing Burnley striker Andre Gray. The Magpies are apparently looking to bolster their firing squad upfront for a smooth Premier League campaign and Gray has been shortlisted for the very same purpose.
The English player has played a major role in Burnley’s relegation battle and earned many accolades for his performance this season in the Premier League. With only a year left on his contract, and with the player refusing to pen down a new one, the Clarets would definitely look to cash in on the player.
The 25-year old has been a long-term target of the Magpies and it seems that it will be under Benitez that he will finally make the interesting and potentially successful move.
