Brighton & Hove Albion are set to host Bournemouth at the Amex Stadium on Tuesday night in the Premier League. Both teams can still qualify for European football, so there’s plenty to play for.
The Seagulls have won their last two league games, beating Chelsea and Southampton. It has been a strong response to the 7-0 drubbing at the hands of Nottingham Forest, with Fabian Hürzeler’s side now looking up. They head into this fixture on the back of a 4-0 thrashing of bottom-placed Southampton.
Meanwhile, the Cherries lost 1-0 at home to relegation-threatened Wolverhampton Wanderers. Their performance could be attributed to the fact that they were reduced to 10 men on the afternoon. Nonetheless, Andoni Iraola’s side sit sixth in the table—only one point behind the top four.

Brighton right-back Joel Veltman has been ruled out for several weeks with a foot problem. Senior figures Lewis Dunk and Danny Welbeck missed the game against Southampton and remain doubtful for the visit of Bournemouth.

Pervis Estupinan, meanwhile, played 20 minutes in the 4-0 win over Southampton after missing the last three games.
As for Bournemouth, Andoni Iraola would have been delighted to welcome back Evanilson from injury, although the striker did not play a minute against Wolves. Illia Zabarnyi was shown a red card after VAR review against Wolves last weekend. The club have appealed the decision to send off their defender, with a review pending now.

Bournemouth—Antoine Semenyo
Antoine Semenyo has been one of Bournemouth’s standout players this season. He has improved significantly under Iraola and performed consistently. However, the winger had a relatively quiet outing in the 1-0 defeat to Wolves. The Ghana international will be determined to bounce back with a strong performance against Brighton.
