Leeds United will look to continue their dominance in the EFL Championship when they face Coventry City and a familiar foe in Frank Lampard on Wednesday.
After wreaking havoc on Cardiff City with a 7-0 victory last week, the league leaders now turn their attention towards Coventry, who are 11th in the table.
Sitting just two points ahead of Sheffield United, Leeds will hope to maintain the narrow lead, and their impressive 13-match unbeaten streak makes them strong favourites on Wednesday. On the other hand, Coventry City, led by Lampard, are coming off an emphatic 2-0 victory against Swansea, which extended their winning streak to 4 games.
It will not be plain sailing for Leeds, who had to settle for a stalemate in their last away game against Burnley. Daniel Farke’s men need to be at the top of their game to collect another three points.

As for Coventry City, Ben Sheaf has been sidelined with a hamstring injury, and forwards Haji Wright and Ephron Mason-Clark are also in the treatment room.

Leeds will also be without star forward Patrick Bamford, who continues to recover from a hamstring issue.

Goalkeeper
Earning four clean sheets on the trot and featuring in every league game this season, Illan Meslier is the indisputable No.1 for Farke’s side and should retain his place in the Leeds United lineup.
Defence
Joe Rodon and Ethan Ampadu have been rock solid in the backline and will continue to be the centre-back pairing. Meanwhile, Jayden Bogle will be the right-back, and Junior Firpo, who has six assists to his name so far this season, should feature as the left-back.
Midfield
Ao Tanaka, who produced a scintillating performance against Cardiff, will once again look to pull the strings from the midfield alongside Joe Rothwell.
USMNT midfielder Brendan Aaronson will act as the creative hub as the No.10. He has been in sublime form this season and would look to make an impact again against Coventry.
Attack
Manor Solomon, who was part of the goal-fest at Elland Road last week, will retain his spot on the left wing, and an in-form Daniel James, who has 14-goal contributions this season, will continue to be the go-to guy on the right in the Leeds United lineup.
Dutch striker Joel Piroe, who scored a stunning double against Cardiff, will lead the attack for the Whites. His presence will pose a big threat to Lampard’s side.
