Tottenham Hotspur will look to continue their good form heading into the second international break of the season when they travel to Kenilworth Road to face Luton Town in an early lunchtime kick-off on Saturday.
Spurs have not lost a league game this season, with five wins and two draws including a controversial victory against Liverpool that has dominated the VAR discussions. It may well have been their worst display of the season but they managed to find a path to victory against nine-men Liverpool last weekend.
Ange Postecoglou’s side will, at least temporarily, go top of the Premier League table with a win against Luton Town, who come into this game off the back of a 1-2 defeat to fellow newcomers Burnley in midweek.

In a fresh injury blow for Tottenham, Manor Solomon will spend close to two months on the sidelines following surgery to the meniscus on his right knee. He has joined a packed treatment room which is also hosting Ivan Perisic (ACL), Ryan Sessegnon (hamstring), Alfie Whiteman (ankle) and Rodrigo Bentancur while Brennan Johnson remains out for the weekend fixture.
Lo Celso and Bryan Gil are back in training.

Goalkeeper
Guglielmo Vicario has enjoyed a solid start to life at Tottenham, although he has just kept two clean sheets from seven league games. The Italian is Spurs’ undisputed No.1 and remains a certain starter against Luton in the Tottenham lineup.
Defence
In front of Vicario, Spurs are expected to line up in a 4-2-3-1 formation, with Cristian Romero continuing his growing partnership with Micky van de Ven in central defence. Pedro Porro and Destiny Udogie will form an attack-minded full-back pairing in the Tottenham lineup, hoping to create opportunities from either flank by stretching the opposition’s backline.
Ben Davies and Emerson Royal should offer cover for the defensive positions from the bench.
Midfield
As for the midfield unit, Pape Sarr and Yves Bissouma look untouchable at the moment. They will form a dynamic partnership once again, providing thrust, energy and physicality from the middle of the park.
James Maddison makes Tottenham tick at the offensive end of the pitch, thanks to his imagination, incisiveness and flair. Operating from the No.10 role as usual, the England international will be key in unlocking the shaky Luton defence.
Attack
Up front, Son Heung-min will spearhead the Spurs attack, hoping to add to his tally of six goals in seven league games so far this season. Richarlison should continue to feed Son from the left flank following their effective linkup against Liverpool last weekend, while Dejan Kulusevski will look to breach the Luton backline from the opposite flank in the Tottenham lineup.
Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, Oliver Skipp and Alejo Veliz will hope to make an impact if they get opportunities off the bench.
