2 Changes With Start For James: 4-2-3-1 Fulham Predicted XI vs Manchester City

Fulham travel to the Etihad Stadium to face defending champions Manchester City on Saturday aiming to get back to winning ways in the Premier League.

The Lilywhites are on a four-game unbeaten run and have climbed up to seventh in the table. They were held to a goalless draw by Everton at Craven Cottage last time out, breaking their chain of back-to-back wins over Aston Villa and Leeds United.

Marco Silva’s men will hope to stun Man City at the weekend in their final away game before the Premier League pauses for the World Cup in Qatar.

Fulham Team News

Bobby Decordova-Reid is suspended for the upcoming game after picking up his fifth yellow card of the season in the 0-0 draw with Everton. Kenny Tete was back in the squad at the weekend from a six-week injury lay-off.

Manor Solomon (knee) and Layvin Kurzawa (calf) are the only players injured for Fulham ahead of the clash with Man City.

Predicted Fulham Lineup vs Man City (4-2-3-1)

Goalkeeper

Bernd Leno has established himself as the first-choice goalkeeper this season and is guaranteed to start in the Fulham lineup against Man City. He must come up with a big performance if Fulham are to keep a clean sheet at the Etihad Stadium.

Defence

Kenny Tete came off the bench against Everton last time out but is expected to start at right-back at the weekend in Bobby Decordova-Reid’s absence.

Antonee Robinson must retain his spot at left-back, with Tim Ream forming a central defensive pairing with Issa Diop in the Fulham lineup.

The entire Fulham backline, along with the goalkeeper, must brace themselves for a busy evening against Pep Guardiola’s orchestrated juggernaut.

Midfield

There is no looking past the double pivot of Harrison Reed and Joao Palhinha in Fulham’s engine room. Palhinha’s technical skills on the ball and defensive prowess complement Harrison’s energy and swift movement in midfield, helping the Cottagers have a strong base to build their attacks from.

Much of Fulham’s attacks go through Andreas Pereira, who has been the creative hub of the side. The Brazilian will have to be crisp with his passing in the final third to breach a well-oiled City defence.

Attack

Fulham’s top scorer this term, Aleksandar Mitrovic is a certainty to spearhead the attack given his aerial prowess and poaching traits inside the box. Daniel James could come in for Neeskens Kebano on the right flank, with Willian grabbing a spot on the left in the Fulham lineup.

Tom Cairney, Harry Wilson and Carlos Vinicius might play some part off the bench at a later stage of the encounter at the Etihad Stadium.
