Team News, Predicted 4-2-3-1 Leeds United Lineup vs Crystal Palace

Leeds United will look to snap their four-match winless streak on Sunday when they make the trip to Selhurst Park to play Crystal Palace.

The Whites have lost their way since beating Chelsea back in August, collecting just two points from their subsequent four games. This has seen them drop to 13th in the Premier League standings.

Jesse Marsch will be desperate to get his team back to winning ways against Crystal Palace, who head into this game on the back of a 2-1 defeat to Chelsea.

Leeds United Team News

Leeds will be without Luis Sinisterra for the away game at Crystal Palace after the winger was sent off for two yellow cards during the draw with Aston Villa last weekend, while Stuart Dallas, Archie Gray and Adam Forshaw are out injured at the moment.

Predicted Leeds United Lineup vs Crystal Palace (4-2-3-1)

Goalkeeper

Illan Meslier is the undisputed first-choice goalkeeper for Leeds United and he should start at Selhurst Park.

Defence

Jesse Marsch will stick to his 4-2-3-1 formation, with a flat back four of Rasmus Kristensen, Robin Koch, Liam Cooper and Pascal Struijk expected to retain their places from the last game.

Koch will partner Cooper at centre-back, with Kristensen and Struijk operating from the full-back positions. They will need to defend as a unit to keep Wilfried Zaha and co. at bay at the weekend.

Midfield

A double pivot of Marc Roca and Tyler Adams will be tasked with the responsibility of combating Palace in midfield. Adams’ energy and pressing should complement Roca’s passing ability and vision in the Leeds engine room, as the duo focus on establishing their superiority over the opposition.

Mateusz Klich will be available for selection on the bench but might come on to influence the game in the second half if needed.

Attack

Patrick Bamford is expected to lead the Leeds attack on Sunday. The Englishman has overcome his injury problems and will be raring to get on the scoresheet against the Eagles. Bamford operating in the No.9 role should see Rodrigo dropping behind him as a No.10, acting as a shadow striker and making late runs into the box.

Luis Sinisterra’s one-match suspension should see Jack Harrison make the switch to the left flank, with Brandon Aaronson adding creativity and flair from the right.

Wilfried Gnonto, Crysencio Summerville and Sam Greenwood could be involved in the second half of the game, as the Whites aim to get back to winning ways in the league.
