Predicted Tottenham Lineup vs Everton (3-4-2-1)

Goalkeeper

Hugo Lloris will look to keep back-to-back clean sheets in the Premier League when Everton visit Spurs at the weekend. The Frenchman’s form has wavered over the years, yet, he continues to keep his place in goal.

Defence

Antonio Conte used a more pragmatic 3-5-2 system at Brighton but reverted to 3-4-2-1 in the 3-2 win over Frankfurt on Wednesday. There are chances of the Italian sticking to the 3-4-2-1 formation, with Cristian Romero, Eric Dier and Ben Davies occupying the centre-back slots in the Tottenham lineup.

football formations

Ben Davies will come back into the side after being an unused substitute in midweek, while Dier looks to make amends after being at fault for Frankfurt’s opening goal.

Midfield

Pierre-Emile Højbjerg and Rodrigo Bentancur will operate in the double pivot in the Tottenham lineup as they hope to protect the backline while controlling the flow of the game at the centre of the park.

Ivan Perisic is a certainty to start at left wing-back in the Tottenham lineup after being rested in midweek. The experienced Croat should replace Ryan Sessegnon in the team, while Emerson Royal’s suspension opens the door for Matt Doherty to make another start at right wing-back.

Yves Bissouma, Pape Sarr and Oliver Skipp will act as cover for the midfield position.

Attack

Harry Kane is nailed on to lead the charge for Tottenham’s attack. He will look to continue his good run of form.

Supporting Kane up front will be Son Heung-min and Richarlison in the Tottenham lineup, as the duo look to use their pace, dribbling skills and creativity to cause problems to the Everton backline.
