2 Changes Likely: 4-3-3 Crystal Palace Predicted XI vs Everton

Crystal Palace will be aiming to make it back-to-back wins in the Premier League when they travel to Goodison Park to face Everton.

Patrick Vieira’s side came from behind to beat Wolves 2-1 at Selhurst Park in midweek, which lifted them to 11th in the table. The result against Wolves means the Eagles have stretched their unbeaten run to three games.

Vieira and co. are yet to get off the mark on the road this season, something they will want to change at the weekend when they head to Everton, who have lost their last three games.

Crystal Palace Team News

Crystal Palace are still without James McArthur, Nathan Ferguson, Chris Richards, Nathaniel Clyne and Jack Butland due to injury while Will Hughes has returned after a bout of illness.

This means Vieira will have more or less the same squad on Saturday.

Predicted Crystal Palace Lineup vs Everton (4-3-3)

Goalkeeper

Setting up his side in a 4-3-3 shape, Patrick Vieira will name a strong XI against Everton. Vicente Guaita is a certainty in goal for Palace, hoping to keep a shutout against Everton.

Defence

Joachim Andersen will resume his centre-back partnership with Marc Guehi at the heart of the backline in the Crystal Palace lineup.

Joel Ward will keep his place at right-back in the Crystal Palace lineup while Tyrick Mitchell fills in on the other side of the defence at left-back.

James Tomkins and Jairo Riedewald will offer cover for the defensive positions.

Midfield

Vieira will have to make at least one enforced change in the three-man midfield in the Crystal Palace lineup.

Luka Milvojevic or Jairo Riedewald are the main candidates to replace the suspended Doucoure. We expect Milivojevic to be deployed in the centre of the midfield in the Crystal Palace lineup with Jeffrey Schlupp and Eberechi Eze on either side of him.

Attack

Up front in the Crystal Palace lineup, Vieira could make one change by bringing in Jordan Ayew for Michael Olise on the right flank. Ayew’s stamina and off-the-ball work rate are immense, and having such a player in the team for a tough away fixture is invaluable.

The Ghanaian will join Odsonne Edouard and Wilfried Zaha in the Palace attack, with the trio hoping to make life difficult for Everton with their pace, pressing and physicality.

Edouard will lead the charge for the visitors in the final third, with Zaha looking to continue his bright start to the season with another attacking haul.
