Real Madrid will look to strengthen their grip on the top spot in La Liga when they host Real Sociedad on Saturday.
Carlo Ancelotti’s side have looked a cut above the rest of the pack this season and are currently five points clear of second-placed Sevilla with a game in hand.
Los Blancos are undefeated in their last 23 home matches in the league and have not conceded a goal in the competition in over a month.
The last time these two sides met, Real Madrid cruised to a 2-0 victory courtesy of goals from Vinicius Jr and Luka Jovic.
Real Madrid Team News
Carlo Ancelotti will be without midfielders Federico Valverde and Toni Kroos through injuries and illness, but David Alaba returned to team training earlier this week and is in contention to play.

Casemiro and Ferland Mendy are suspended for the midweek Champions League game against PSG, so they are likely to start against Sociedad.
Ancelotti has also hinted that Eduardo Camavinga could get a taste of first-team action.
Real Madrid predicted lineup vs Real Sociedad (4-3-3)
Goalkeeper
Thibaut Courtois will start in goal for Real Madrid. The Belgian has kept 13 clean sheets so far this season.
Defenders
With Sergio Ramos and Raphael Varane gone, Eder Militao has made the centre-back spot his own. The Brazilian has missed just one La Liga match since last March.
David Alaba is fit again, but might not be rushed back into action, meaning Nacho Fernandes should keep his spot in the team alongside Militao.
Ferland Mendy and Dani Carvajal will start in the full-back positions against Sociedad.
Midfielders
With Kroos and Valverde unavailable for this game, Camavinga might just get the nod to start alongside Casemiro and Luka Modric in central midfield.
The France international has not yet hit the heights expected of him following his move from Rennes, but at 19 years of age, he has plenty of time to find his feet in La Liga.
Modric, meanwhile, has continued to shine for Madrid despite being the oldest member of the side at 36. The Croat’s vision and passing range are integral to Real Madrid’s attacking endeavours.
Attackers
Vinicius Jr is in the midst of a breakthrough campaign. The Brazilian has scored 13 goals and provided seven assists in the league this season. He will start on the left flank against Sociedad.
Karim Benzema will lead the line once again for Carlo Ancelotti’s side. The Frenchman has been Madrid’s best player this season with 26 goals and 11 assists in 31 appearances in all competitions.
Marco Asensio will round out the attack. The Spaniard has scored in each of Madrid’s last two home matches.
