Manchester United are interested in signing Rennes midfielder Eduardo Camavinga this summer. The teenager has wowed Ligue 1 fans since his debut as a 16-year-old two years ago.
As per The Guardian, the Red Devils could secure the signing of the 18-year-old for a fee of just €30 million. French giants Paris Saint-Germain are also interested in signing the midfield sensation.
Rennes will likely sell Camavinga as his current deal with the club expires next year and they will not want him to leave on a free transfer.
The Angolan-born French international made his debut for the World Cup winners last year and has made three appearances, scoring one goal so far, a clever overhead kick.

Eduardo Camavinga is seen by many as the next superstar from France. The 18-year-old has been spectacular for Rennes since his debut in 2019 and has made over 80 appearances in two seasons.

The Frenchman is a typical modern-day midfielder who is capable of doing a bit of everything. A good passer of the ball, a confident dribbler, and a very capable tackler, Camavinga can become a world-class box-to-box midfielder in the future.
The left-footed midfielder is strong on and off the ball, capable of breaking past the opposition’s midfield with his dribbling, while also quick and strong to make interceptions and tackles. He averaged 2.8 tackles per game in Ligue 1 last season in 35 appearances.
Camavinga also rarely gave away the ball, completing 89% of all his passes in the league. His quick and short passing helps build the game from the attacking standpoint for his team, as does his driving runs with the ball.
Manchester United should do everything in their power to sign Camavinga this summer. The French midfielder has the technical ability as well as a mature head for someone just 18 years of age.
The Red Devils should also sign him in this window as Europe’s elite clubs are in financial turmoil which has resulted in them not able to make big signings. When Camavinga’s contract expires next summer, several clubs will line up to sign him.
Camavinga could solve the midfield problem that United has right now. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer does not have attack-minded, forward-thinking midfielders who can also defend.
The future of Paul Pogba is also up in the air at the moment which means that there is a slot open in the United central midfield for a creative player. A fee of €30 million seems like a bargain for a talent like Camavinga.
