5 Changes Expected: 4-3-3 Manchester City Predicted Lineup vs Olympiacos

Manchester City have two remaining fixtures before another international break puts the breaks on club football in Europe -a home game against Olympiacos in the Champions League tomorrow before the blockbuster clash against Liverpool on Sunday.

The Sky Blues are coming on the back of a tricky 0-1 away win over struggling Sheffield United and will be eager to make it 3 out of 3 in the European competition tomorrow.

TEAM NEWS

Sergio Aguero will remain absent along with Benjamin Mendy and Fernandinho. The Argentine is nearing full fitness and might make an appearance against Liverpool.

Gabriel Jesus has resumed training but is unlikely to be risked tomorrow against the Greek side.

PREDICTED MANCHESTER CITY LINEUP vs OLYMPIACOS (4-3-3)

DEFENCE

Ederson is expected to start in goal in the Manchester City lineup.

The Brazilian has been in good form this season and will back himself to keep another clean sheet against Olympiacos.

Kyle Walker could be handed a breather after missing just 12 minutes of action this season. Joao Cancelo will move over to the right in that case.

Oleksandr Zinchenko will start at left-back in the Manchester City lineup with Benjamin Mendy still missing in action.

Central defence might see an overhaul with Ruben Dias in line for a rest after six consecutive starts since joining the club. We will see Nathan Ake at left centre-back while one of Eric Garcia or John Stones could partner him.

MIDFIELD

Rodri might keep his place at the base of midfield with Fernandinho injured.

Ilkay Gundogan will come into the Manchester City lineup in one of the 3 midfield positions.

Bernardo Silva has shown good desire and energy in midfield recently and might be handed another start against slightly more favorable opposition as he looks to build his confidence.

FORWARD

Ferran Torres might continue through the middle once again. He has shown good movement and awareness in Aguero and Jesus’s absence and will look to add more goals before the duo return to the fold.

Riyad Mahrez could be handed another start on the right. The Algerian had a poor game against Sheffield United but has been creative on an individual level thus far this season.

On the left in the Manchester City lineup, we expect Phil Foden to get a start after playing just 9 minutes in the Premier League last weekend.
