After narrowly beating Brighton in the Premier League last Saturday, Manchester United will face former manager Jose Mourinho and his Tottenham Hotspur side. Spurs have been on a roll after their opening day defeat against Everton, winning four of their six matches in all competitions, and scoring 19 goals in the process.
Manchester United, meanwhile, have also won their last three games, although their performance against Brighton was sub-par. United have been unbeaten against Spurs in their last three encounters, but the visitors are the in-form side heading into this fixture.

Phil Jones, Axel Tuanzebe and Sergio Romero are still unavailable for selection. Manchester United captain Harry Maguire picked up a knock in the league game, but he should be fit for the clash against Tottenham.
Bruno Fernandes will also have a let fitness test to decide if he will be able to make the Manchester United against Spurs.

Harry Maguire should continue to lead the defence for Manchester United. It will be interesting to see who Solskjaer chooses to play alongside the skipper. Eric Bailly had a solid game in the mid-week clash against Brighton in the EFL Cup. He could get the nod ahead of Victor Lindelof, after playing two full games in the EFL Cup.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka, despite his poor performance against Brighton in the league, should start at right-back, while Luke Shaw should start at left-back in the Manchester United lineup.
Midfield
Paul Pogba had a game to forget against Brighton in the league last weekend. The Frenchman may be given another chance by Solskjaer against Spurs, starting alongside Nemanja Matic in midfield.
Donny van de Beek is an option for the United manager, but he may wait a little longer to give the Dutchman his first Premier League start.
Bruno Fernandes should start behind the strikers for Solskjaer, and United’s performance could once again depend on how well the Portuguese international plays.
Attack
The front three should remain the same with Anthony Martial leading the line, and Mason Greenwood and Marcus Rashford playing out wide in the Manchester United lineup.
