Key Attacker To Return | Predicted 4-3-3 Liverpool Lineup vs Norwich City

Premier League leaders Liverpool will return to action on Saturday when they face Norwich City at Carrow Road.

The Reds have been fine form all season, and it’s only a matter of time before they are mathematically uncatchable in the title race as Manchester City are a mammoth 22 points behind with just 13 games remaining.

The mini-break did Jurgen Klopp’s side a world of good as several injured players are back in training, and back in contention for the remainder of the season.

Klopp, though, is likely to stick with his big guns as Norwich City away from home are a tricky team. The Canaries faced Liverpool on the opening day of the season, and gave the Reds a good run for their money, but eventually lost.

Norwich are seven points away from safety, and will look to give it their all to retain their top-flight status. They will, however, start as massive underdogs against this Liverpool team.

Liverpool Team News

Klopp revealed in his press conference that Sadio Mane and James Milner are fit again. The former is likely to make the Liverpool lineup, but it remains to be seen if Milner will feature.

Xherdan Shaqiri has also begun training, but it’s unlikely he’ll start. Nathaniel Clyne had suffered an anterior cruciate ligament injury in pre-season, and is yet to make an appearance for the Reds in the league this season. His return to training will help the club rotate their squad in the cup games.

Predicted Liverpool Lineup vs Norwich City

Defence

Alisson Becker is the undisputed no.1 choice in the league, and should take his place in the Liverpool goal. A back four of Trent Alexander-Arnold, Virgil van Dijk, Joe Gomez, and Andy Robertson should complete the Liverpool defence against Norwich City.

Midfield

Fabinho could be given the nod to start as the defensive midfielder against Norwich City. The Canaries like to press and defend on the front-foot, so the Brazilian will need to up his game.

Captain Jordan Henderson and Gini Wijnaldum are expected to be picked to support Fabinho in midfield. The trio’s work-rate this season has set new standards in the Premier League, and the fans will hope they can continue in the same vein.

Attack

The trio of Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino, and Mohamed Salah should complete the Liverpool lineup. Salah picked up his form in Mane’s absence just before the break, and is now just three goals behind Jamie Vardy in the race for the Premier League golden boot.
