Key Change At The Back | Predicted 4-1-4-1 Leeds United Lineup vs QPR

Leeds United will face QPR at Loftus Road on Saturday, and need a win to stay on the coattails of Championship leaders West Bromwich Albion.

The Whites suffered their second loss in their last five games Sheffield Wednesday at home last weekend, which has shrunk their gap to third-placed Brentford in the Championship.

Marcelo Bielsa’s side have won just once in their last six games, and many have started dreading that this could be the start of Leeds’ slide.

Leeds did win the reverse fixture against QPR earlier this season, with Tyler Roberts and Jack Harrison getting on the score-sheet.

Leeds United Team News

Pablo Hernandez and Jamie Shackleton returned to the Leeds United squad for the clash against Sheffield Wednesday.

Barry Douglas, however, suffered an injury and he is going to miss this weekend’s game, while Tyler Roberts and Adam Forshaw are also not going to feature. Stuart Dallas should be fit despite suffering a knock.

Let’s take a look at the Leeds United lineup for the game against QPR:

Predicted Leeds United Lineup vs QPR

Goalkeeper

Kiko Casilla will start in goal for Leeds United this weekend. The custodian has conceded 11 goals in the last six games, and will hope for a clean-sheet this time.

Defence

Ben White and Liam Cooper should continue at the back for Leeds. We will see one change at the back, with Barry Douglas dropping out of the lineup due to injury.

It will be interesting to see if Bielsa uses Ezgjan Alioski in the left-back role, or move Stuart Dallas to left-back from central midfield.

Luke Ayling should continue in the right-back position for Leeds.

Midfield

Kalvin Phillips should play in the defensive midfield role for Leeds, while Mateusz Klich should start ahead of him in the central midfield area.

Dallas could move to the left-back spot, with one of Pablo Hernandez or Jamie Shackleton playing in the midfield role alongside Klich.

19-year-old Jordan Stevens, who came on in the last game, is another option in the middle of the park.

Attack

Patrick Bamford is the only first-team striker available for Bielsa, and he should start as the main striker.

Helder Costa should continue on the right side of attack if Hernandez starts in a midfield role. Jack Harrison will retain his place in the Leeds United lineup, on the left side of attack.
