Key Change In Attack | Predicted 4-2-3-1 Manchester United Lineup vs Burnley

Manchester United succumbed to their seventh defeat in the Premie League when they face arch-rivals Liverpool last Sunday.

The Red Devils face Burnley on Wednesday, and have a chance to close the gap to Chelsea in fourth, who could only draw against Arsenal on Tuesday night.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side are six points behind the Blues, but have a good chance of halving that gap on Wednesday night. The last time Burnley played Manchester United at Old Trafford, they took a point away from the game as they drew 2-2.

Manchester United Team News

Paul Pogba, Scott McTominay, and Marcus Rashford will all miss the game through injury while Marcos Rojo and Axel Tuanzebe are not fit yet. Victor Lindelof is a doubt as well, having been sent home from training due to an illness.

Let’s take a look at the possible Manchester United lineup for the game against Burnley:

Predicted Manchester United Lineup vs Burnley

Goalkeeper

David de Gea should keep his place in-between the sticks for Manchester United against Burnley.

Defence

Lindelof may be rested for this game, with Eric Bailly – who hasn’t played a single minute this season, coming in for him at centre-back. Harry Maguire. The club’s new skipper, should partner Bailly at the back.

Luke Shaw returned to the Manchester United team against Liverpool, playing as part of a back three.

He may drop to the bench as Solskjaer may not want to risk another injury and play him once again just days after returning. Brandon Williams should play at left-back, with Aaron Wan-Bissaka playing at right-back. Diogo Dalot is an option for Solskjaer at right-back too.

Midfield

We could see Solskjaer persist with the same midfield duo of Nemanja Matic and Fred. Andreas Pereira is another option for the Manchester United manager, but recent performances may force him to stick with Matic and Fred.

Juan Mata should return to the team to play in the No. 10 role for Manchester United against Burnley.

Attack

Rashford’s injury means that Daniel James will most likely deputise for him on the left. James’ right side position could be filled by Mason Greenwood, with Anthony Martial leading the line for United once again.

In my opinion, if all webmasters and bloggers made good more content as you did, the net will be much more useful than ever before.
