Rodrygo & Hazard on the wings: 4-3-3 Real Madrid predicted lineup vs Galatasaray

Real Madrid face off against Galatasaray at home tonight, in what is an important match for the Spanish side as they are second on the table and need a win to get closer to qualification for the knockout stages of the tournament. Madrid registered a narrow win in the Champions League last time around, beating Galatasaray 1-0 in Turkey.

But, they come into this match after a disappointing draw against Real Betis at home over the weekend. The Spaniards are on four points from three games, winning one, losing one and drawing the other. Galatasaray are bottom of the group, having got just one point from their three games.

Let’s take a look at the possible Real Madrid lineup for the game against Galatasaray.

PREDICTED REAL MADRID LINEUP vs GALATASARAY (4-3-3)

Goalkeeper

Thibaut Courtois will start as the goalkeeper in the Real Madrid lineup on Wednesday night.

Defence

Sergio Ramos and Raphaël Varane started in defence against Real Betis and played the entire 90 minutes. The duo could start in defence in the Champions League as well. Marcelo was given a rest for the La Liga game but should return to the starting XI, replacing Ferland Mendy in the side.

Dani Carvajal should retain his place in the team as well. The Spaniard also played the entire 90 minutes against Real Betis.

Midfield

Luka Modric, Casemiro, and Toni Kroos played the entire game over the weekend. We could see Modric replaced for the game against Galatasaray as he has only returned from injury and playing two back-to-back games could be hard for him.

Modric could be replaced by Isco or Federico Valverde in the starting XI, with the former being a much more attacking outlet. The Croatian could perhaps be an option from the bench for manager Zinedine Zidane.

Attack

Karim Benzema has been the standout attacker for Madrid this season and should start for the Spanish giants against Galatasaray. Eden Hazard should start on the left in the Real Madrid lineup. He had a good game against Betis and looked a threat.

On the right, Rodrygo could start, after impressing once again for Madrid against Betis. Vinícius Júnior is an option for Zidane on the left/right if he chooses to shake things up later on.
