6 Changes Expected: 3-4-3 Arsenal Predicted Lineup vs Eintracht Frankfurt

Following their hapless 2-2 draw against Southampton in the Premier League, Arsenal will now turn their attention to the Europa League as they are scheduled to host Eintracht Frankfurt at the Emirates Stadium on Thursday.

The Gunners have been shambolic in recent weeks and Unai Emery is under intense pressure at the moment. The pressure might ultimately give way to a sack but as of now, he will be leading his charges on Thursday night as they look to put in a solid display to dispel some of the cynicism.

Arsenal Team News

Dani Ceballos is recovering from a thigh injury and is expected to return to training in mid-December. Bukayo Saka has been on the sidelines since the start of this month owing to a knee injury and will not be available for selection.

Rob Holding recently returned from his long-term knee injury but has been facing fitness issues, which is why he might not be risked in the upcoming fixture. However, Sead Kolasinac could return from his thigh injury.

Predicted Arsenal Lineup vs Eintracht Frankfurt (3-4-3)

Defence

Emiliano Martinez could be summoned to start between the sticks against the German outfit. The 27-year-old custodian has fared well whenever being called upon and will strive to bag a clean sheet.

Emery could go with a three-man defensive wall comprising of Calum Chambers, Shkodran Mustafi and Sokratis. The defence has been shambolic and as of this moment, the only way is up as far as the performances are concerned.

Wing-backs

While Kieran Tierney could get the nod to start as the left wing-back, Hector Bellerin is seemingly likely to be chalked on the opposite side in the Arsenal lineup. With their pace and directness, they can cause trouble for the opposition.

Midfield

Joe Willock is an exciting talent at the disposal of Arsenal and is likely to start in the central midfield alongside Lucas Torreira.

Willock averages 2.3 tackles per game after 4 Europa League appearances and also has 2 goals to his name.

Attack

Summer signing Gabriel Martinelli has been in a dazzling form in the Europa League, having bagged 3 goals and 1 assist in 3 games. The Brazilian prodigy, therefore, is expected to lead the Arsenal lineup once again.

Nicolas Pepe could start on the right-wing while Reiss Nelson might be chalked on the left flank. The former, after his £72million move to Arsenal in the summer, has been far from convincing and it is about time he steps up to the plate.
