2 Key Changes At The Back | Predicted 4-1-4-1 Leeds United Lineup vs Reading

Leeds United registered their third Championship win on the trot after they relied on late own goal to beat Luton Town on Saturday.

The Whites moved up to second on the Championship table with that win over the weekend, and will face off against Reading at the Madejski Stadium on Tuesday night, who are currently 18th in the league table.

Marcelo Bielsa’s side need to continue their good form, as their last defeat came against Millwall in the league in the first week of October.

Leeds United Team News

Bielsa seems to have got several options in defence, with every defender fit for selection. But the same cannot be said in midfield as Adam Forshaw and Jamie Shackleton have been out due to injury, while Eddie Nketiah is also unavailable.

It is yet to be confirmed when Forshaw or Shackleton will be available, but it’s quite certain that Nketiah will miss Tuesday’s match.

Let’s take a look at the possible side that Marcelo Bielsa may put out for the game against Reading:

Predicted Leeds United Lineup vs Reading

Goalkeeper

Leeds United’s first-choice goalkeeper Kiko Casilla, will have a hearing on November 27th regarding an alleged racist slur that he said during the Whites’ game against Charlton.

It remains to be seen what action the FA will take. But, he should be available for Tuesday’s game.

Defence

Captain Liam Cooper was a second half substitute in the weekend’s game, but he should return to the Leeds United lineup to start alongside Ben White.

Ezgjan Alioski was on the bench for the game against Luton Town and Bielsa could perhaps start him for the game, and replacing Stuart Dallas. Over on the right-back position, Luke Ayling should get a start.

Midfield

Kalvin Phillips is one card away from a one-match suspension, and he will hope that he doesn’t get that card this Tuesday.

Phillips will start with Mateusz Klich and Tyler Roberts in Leeds United lineup. If one of Forshaw or Shackleton are available, they will probably make the bench.

Attack

Patrick Bamford scored one goal and had a big part to play in the own goal, which proved to be the winner for Leeds. He should start in attack, with Patrick Bamford and Jack Harrison on the right and left, respectively in the Leeds United lineup.
