Roberto To Start | Predicted 4-1-4-1 West Ham United Lineup vs Crystal Palace

West Ham United will face Crystal Palace at home on Saturday, and we could be in for an interesting game as the Eagles have been solid in defence, conceding seven goals in the first seven games of the season.

Manuel Pellegrini’s West Ham United side have had a good start to the 2019-20 Premier League season. They have won three, drawn three and lost just one of their seven games so far, which came on the opening day, against Manchester City.

The Hammers are fifth in the Premier League table, level on points with Arsenal, and could possibly move to third by the end of the next matchweek.

Let’s take a look at the possible lineup that Pellegrini could put out against Palace:

Predicted West Ham United Lineup vs Crystal Palace

Goalkeeper

Hammers No. 1 keeper Lukasz Fabianski was substituted in West Ham United’s last Premier League game against Bournemouth after sustaining a hip injury. This means that 33-year-old summer signing Roberto could make the West Ham United lineup.

Defence

Issa Diop and Angelo Ogbonna have been good at the back for the Hammers, having played 6 of the 7 games as a defensive pairing. They will start at the back for West Ham against Crystal Palace.

Left-back Aaron Cresswell scored a very important equaliser in the game against Bournemouth, and he will retain his spot ahead of Arthur Masuaku. Ryan Fredericks will continue in the right-back spot for the Hammers.

Midfield

Declan Rice has been one of the standout players for West Ham United this season, and is fast becoming one of their most important players in the side. The England international will start in the base of midfield for Manuel Pellegrini’s side, and he is often one of the first names in the West Ham United lineup.

Ahead of him, captain Mark Noble will be the one who adds energy and leadership to the midfield area, and he will most likely be joined Pablo Fornals, who could get another start before Manuel Lanzini replaces him.

Attack

Andriy Yarmolenko has started the season off very well, scoring three goals in six games. He will start on the right for the Hammers, with Felipe Anderson on the left side.

Summer signing Sébastien Haller also has three goals this season, and he will retain his place as the lone striker in the West Ham United lineup.
