Manchester United Linked With A Transfer For German Ace | A Good Midfield Option?

Manchester United need to strengthen quite a few areas in their team, especially central midfield, and have narrowed in on former Liverpool midfielder Emre Can, as per reports.

The current Juventus player joined the Italian club last season, but has found playing time limited this season.

TuttoSport (via Daily Mail) are reporting that Can would be interested in returning to England and joining Liverpool’s rivals, Manchester United. The German international joined Juve on a free transfer from Liverpool and made 37 appearances last season, scoring 4 goals and an assist in the season.

This year, he has made just three substitute appearances for Juventus under new manager Maurizio Sarri.

Can has a €50 million release clause in his Juventus contract which expires in 2022. The German played four seasons for Liverpool, racking up over 160 appearances for the Merseyside club and scoring 14 goals.

The 25-year-old has played 24 times for Germany since making his international debut in 2015.

Is Emre Can a good midfield option for Manchester United?

Manchester United’s midfield is currently the weakest it has been in a very long time. Nemanja Matic is past his best and could be on his way out of Old Trafford, while Paul Pogba looks disinterested.

Fred has not lived up to expectations – or his huge price tag – while Scott McTominay is still young and learning his trade.

United need at least two very good central midfielders who need to be drafted straight away into the first team. Can could be a useful addition to the Red Devils squad.

The German is a feisty player in central midfield, who is technically very good, can contribute in both attack and defence, and play more than one position.

Can’s primary position is in central midfield, but he can play as a defensive midfielder or further forward as an attacking midfielder. He is a strong dribbler of the ball, can play intelligent through balls, and can also contribute in defence with his tackles and aerial ability.

While he may not be world-class and the solution to United’s midfield problems, he will be a huge upgrade on the likes of Matic or Fred in the United lineup.

Way cool! Some extremely valid points! I appreciate you writing this post viagra and the rest of the is extremely good.
