The Premier League returns this week after the international break, with the game between Manchester United and Leicester City the big match of the week, while champions Manchester City face a tricky fixture against Norwich City
One of the most surprising players to have excelled in the Premier League thus far is Norwich City striker Teemu Pukki, who has 5 goals to his name and is the second-highest goalscorer in the league. Pukki, who scored a hat-trick against Newcastle United, as well as goals against Chelsea and Liverpool, scored against Greece and Italy for Finland this past week.
Pukki will have a tougher challenge this coming weekend as Norwich City host Manchester City in the Premier League.
One player in the Manchester City team that will be one to watch out for is winger Raheem Sterling, who has continued his superlative form from last season. Like Pukki, Sterling has also scored 5 goals this season, while also scoring for England against Kosovo and Bulgaria.
The 24-year-old has been one of the most consistent players in the last 18 months, and he could be deadly against Norwich City as both teams will have many chances in the game.
Daniel James is another player who has got off to a flyer in the 2019-20 season, scoring three goals for Manchester United in the opening four games of the Premier League season. The 21-year-old Welshman also scored against Belarus in a friendly this past week. Manchester United will host Leicester City this weekend, and James will be one of Ole’s most important players in the game.
Aston Villa spent a lot of money on several signings ahead of the 2019-20 season but their best signing so far is that of central defender Tyrone Mings. His superb form for Villa at the back earned him his first England call-up, although he did not make his debut in either of the games.
Villa host West Ham United this weekend and Mings will have to be at his best for Villa to get something from the game.
Arsenal have a fantastic attack this season with the inclusion of Nicolas Pepe. Pepe, along with Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, can be deadly, especially in counter-attacking situations. Aubameyang is Arsenal’s top scorer so far with three goals, but he will have to do better in not missing easy chances in front of goal.
The Gabon international has a great opportunity to grab a couple of goals this weekend as the Gunners face lowly Watford, who have been dismal at the back so far.
