Brady To Start: 4-4-2 Predicted Burnley Lineup Vs Brighton & Hove Albion

Burnley will make a trip to the Amex Stadium tomorrow as they are scheduled to lock horns with Brighton & Hove Albion in their next Premier League outing.

The Clarets haven’t had the best of starts to their campaign but there is no denying that they will look to bag all three points against the Seagulls this weekend.

Danny Drinkwater is still sidelined following his ankle injury and the midfielder is expected to get back to training in a fortnight’s time.

Dwight McNeil has recovered from his slight back and hamstring injuries, while Ashley Barnes is also likely to be fit after nursing a minor groin problem.

Robbie Brady is expected to be back this weekend despite the fact that he wasn’t available for the Republic of Ireland and his comeback would be a massive boost for Burnley.

However, Johann Berg Gudmundsson is unlikely to feature in the upcoming clash. The winger is down with a calf problem and is currently being assessed.

Defence

Nick Pope will take up the goalkeeper’s position in the Burnley lineup.

James Tarkowski and Ben Mee could start together in central defence. Tarkowski has notched up 3 tackles and 4 interceptions per game on an average in the 4 league games.

Meanwhile, Erik Pieters and Matthew Lowton are likely to get the nod to start as the full-backs in the Burnley lineup having performed decently thus far.

Midfield

Ashley Westwood and Jack Cork could keep their place in the central midfield. Dyche will expect them to assert themselves more on the proceedings and against Brighton, the duo will look to have a more dynamic approach.

While Aaron Lennon is likely to start on the right flank, Brady could come into the starting lineup at the expense of McNeil to provide more quality on the left in terms of crosses into the box.

Attack

Ashley Barnes and Chris Wood are expected to start upfront in the Burnley lineup. They are potent strikers with lethal poaching instincts and will look to cause all sorts of trouble to the Albion backline.

Barnes, in particular, has been in a lethal form so far this season. The 29-year-old has already smashed 4 goals in 4 league outings and will be an instrumental figure once again.

There is a slight doubt regarding his fitness but he is expected to be declared fit well on time.
