3 Arsenal Players Who Should Be Shown The Exit Door: Top Earner Features- Opinion

Unai Emery has done a decent job as the Arsenal manager ever since taking over from Arsene Wenger before the start of last season.

Emery navigated his side to the brink of a top-four finish in the Premier League and Europa League title last season, although they fell at the final hurdle in both cases.

Nonetheless, the Spaniard’s methods looked promising and there is hardly any doubt that he is building a strong side to ensure that they can challenge for major trophies in a year or two.

But in addition to signing players, he also needs to clear the deadwood which he is looking to do.

Here we will take a look at 3 players who we think should be sold in the coming transfer windows.

Shkodran Mustafi

Signed from Valencia for £35million back in 2016, Shkodran Mustafi hasn’t lived up to the expectations and has been serially targeted by the opposition attackers.

Mustafi was strongly linked with a move away last month but the club and the player could not thrash out a deal resulting in him being left out in the cold in summery London.

The error-strewn centre-back has fallen out of favour and Emery has already iterated his desire to strike him off the books.

With Sokratis, Calum Chambers, David Luiz, Rob Holding and Konstantinos Mavropanos in his armoury, with Willian Saliba to join next summer, the German’s race at the Emirates seems to have been run.

Mesut Ozil

Despite being the club’s highest-paid player with wages reported to be £350,000-a-week, Mesut Ozil has been far from convincing for a couple of seasons now.

Following the arrival of Emery, Ozil lost his place in the starting lineup and has often been omitted when Arsenal play away from home or against a top-six side.

During the previous campaign, the former German international could muster merely 2 assists in the Premier League and is yet to feature this season.

Heavily criticized for his insipid displays on the big stage and poor work-rate, Ozil is someone whose sale will help the Gunners no end, especially given that he appears to be completely out of favour under the new manager.

Granit Xhaka

Once again in the limelight for the wrong reasons following an error on Sunday which handed Tottenham Hotspur a penalty, Granit Xhaka seems to have become a liability for Arsenal.

Since the start of the 2016-17 season, Xhaka has committed as many as 7 mistakes leading to goals and it is difficult to pinpoint what exactly he brings to the side, a view which was shared by an Arsenal legend recently on Sky Sports.

Despite the backing he receives from the team management, he has been unable to convince fans of his value and things are increasingly looking bleak for him as the Gunners try to imbibe a ruthless attitude which will be needed to end their painful wait for a Premier League trophy.

This includes nitroglycerin, isosorbide dinitrate, cheap viagra for sale, as the magazine put it, given that Pfizer scientists discovered the drug.
