Mata To Start In Attack: Predicted 4-2-3-1 Manchester United Lineup vs Wolves

Manchester United, following their comfortable 4-0 win over Chelsea, face Wolves at Molineux Stadium on Monday Night. Wolves defeated United twice last season – once in the Premier League and the other time in the FA Cup, while also getting a point at Old Trafford in the league.

Nuno Santo’s side come into the game on the back of a 4-0 win in the Europa League against Armenian side FC Pyunik, winning the round 8-0 in aggregate. The last time these two sides met in the Premier League, Wolves won the game 2-1.

What plans will Red Devils manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer have to not lose once again to Wolves? Let’s take a look at the Manchester United predicted lineup for the games against Wolves:

Predicted Manchester United Lineup vs Wolves

Goalkeeper

David de Gea had a very good game against Chelsea as he made a couple of very good saves and ensured a clean sheet for United. He will continue in goal for the club against Wolves.

Defence

When Manchester United played Wolves last time around, Solskjaer went into the game with a back three to mirror the formation that Wolves used. This time around, he could stick to a back four, the same lineup that started against Chelsea last weekend.

Harry Maguire and Victor Lindelof will form the heart of the defence, while Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Luke Shaw will play at right-back and left-back, respectively.

Midfield

It will be interesting to see if Solskjaer brings in the experience of Nemanja Matic for this game, although the speed of Wolves’ counter-attacks may be too much for the former Chelsea player.

Scott McTominay and Paul Pogba are likely to start the game against Wolves. One of Andreas Pereira, Fred or Jesse Lingard could complete the midfield. I feel that Solskjaer could play McTominay, Pogba, and Lingard in midfield, with Lingard the furthest forward player.

Attack

Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial both got on the scoresheet against Chelsea, and they will start on the left and up front, respectively.

Solskjaer could add Juan Mata to the United team against Wolves to keep the ball moving and hold on to the possession.

In my opinion, if all webmasters and bloggers made good more content as you did, the net will be much more useful than ever before.
