Everton linked with a €30m transfer for Serie A ace: What will he add to the team?

Everton are looking to sign Juventus forward Moise Kean, it has been claimed.

The Toffees showed a lot of promise under Marco Silva, and if reports from Italian outlet Gazzetta are to be believed, Everton are willing to spend €30 million on the talented Kean.

Although Juventus want to retain Kean, the 19-year old had a difficult campaign last time with the Old Lady as he was racially abused in the Serie A, and perhaps expected more playing time.

Everton have begun the transfer window well, having secured the permanent signing of Andre Gomes. The Toffees lack a goal-scoring forward last season, even though Dominic Calvert-Lewin did a fine job, and Kean might be the solution.

Moise Kean: Profile

Kean spent his youth career Asti, Torino, and Juventus. After showing a lot of promise for the Juventus youth teams, Kean was shipped out on loan to Verona in the 2017-18 season.

After a decent season on loan, he made was finally given his chance with the Juventus senior team last season.

In 13 Serie A appearances, the 19-year-old managed to score 6 goals and has a bright future ahead of him.

Kean was also handed his full international debut when he featured for the Azzurri in the clash against the USA in November 2018.

What will Moise Kean offer Everton?

Lighting quick and a good dribbler of the ball, Kean would be a scary prospect in the Premier League as he is likely to find more space in the English top flight than a more tactical league like the Serie A.

For a young player, Kean showed incredible composure in the attacking third as his finish was pretty impressive.

Silva’s system needs players who are mobile and can hold the ball, and though Kean can improve in the latter, he would still be a pretty good addition owing to his goal-scoring prowess.

Kean is also an absolute unit, so even if the Premier League centre-backs bully him, he sure can give it back.

By no means is he a finished product and he has a lot of areas to improve on, particularly his passing.

However, he is still only 19, and will get better with time. Considering the potential he has shown already, he is worth the gamble.
