Lloris and Trippier to Return: Predicted 3-4-2-1 Tottenham Hotspur Lineup vs Brighton

Tottenham Hotspur will seek to return to winning ways when they host Brighton & Hove Albion at the Tottenham Hotspur Arena on Tuesday.

The Lilywhites are currently third in the league table, but any mishap will allow the likes of Chelsea and Arsenal to potentially gain an advantage with a few games remaining.

Tottenham Hotspur team news

Tottenham will be without Harry Kane, Serge Aurier and Harry Winks, all of who are facing a spell on the sidelines. Moussa Sissoko and Hugo Lloris, meanwhile, are still doubts after missing the last game, while Erik Lamela is likely to return to full fitness on Tuesday.

Predicted Tottenham Hotspur lineup vs Brighton & Hove Albion

Defence

Mauricio Pochettino has played down Hugo Lloris’ injury fears after the Tottenham head coach confirmed that the Frenchman was suffering from a minor muscle problem. Thus, we could expect Lloris to replace Paulo Gazzaniga in between the sticks for Spurs.

Elsewhere, Kieran Trippier is likely to return to the starting lineup after being rested in the defeat to Manchester City at the weekend. The English international will replace Juan Foyth in the right wing-back role, with Danny Rose coming in for Ben Davies on the opposite flank.

As for Foyth, he was excellent against Manchester City on Saturday, and Pochettino might reward with him yet another start on Tuesday. This time, however, he could be deployed in his favoured centre-back role, where he will be partnered by Davinson Sanchez and Jan Vertonghen.

Midfield

Pochettino will have a key decision to make as to whether or not he should stick with Eric Dier, especially with Winks ruled out. We expect the Argentine to deploy Victor Wanyama in central midfield, at the expense of the English international, who clearly struggled to perform against Manchester City in the last game.

Wanyama, therefore, will be a logical option as he can offer the physical presence in midfield, which will be key especially alongside someone like Christian Eriksen.

Attack

Eriksen will operate in a slightly advanced midfield role, where he will look to combine with the attacking duo of Dele Alli and Son Heung-Min.

Alli, in particular, was ineffective in the last game and will be keen to improve on his current form while Son could be burdened with the responsibility of providing the necessary service for the main striker in Fernando Llorente.

The Spaniard was a late substitute at the weekend but is more than likely to be handed a start in this crucial encounter.

Way cool! Some extremely valid points! I appreciate you writing this post more and the rest of the is extremely good.
