4 Changes On The Cards: 4-2-3-1 Manchester United Predicted Lineup vs Fulham

Manchester United kept their unbeaten streak under interim manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer intact with a hard-fought win over Leicester City in the weekend.

The Red Devils will now look to extend their incredible run to 11 games with a win when they take on Fulham in their next Premier League outing.

Fulham, on the other hand, are looking to claw their way back out of the relegation zone but face an almost insurmountable task of beating the rampant United team.

Claudio Ranieri’s men fell to another demoralising 0-2 defeat against Crystal Palace after a rare win over Brighton before that. Ranieri now will have to hope his team can make full use of the home advantage and put up a fight on Saturday.

MANCHESTER UNITED TEAM NEWS

Antonio Valencia has suffered a setback in his rehabilitation and will miss a couple of weeks more. Marcos Rojo has trained all week but will not play any part yet. Matteo Darmian is also out for a couple of weeks.

PREDICTED MANCHESTER UNITED LINEUP VS FULHAM (4-2-3-1)

David de Gea will start in goal and will back himself to keep a clean sheet against a struggling Fulham side.

Ashley Young is likely to be rested and with Matteo Darmian and Antonio Valencia out, we should see a start for Diogo Dalot on the right.

Victor Lindelof was not a part of the squad which travelled to London and a rest is in the offing for him.

With Chris Smalling lacking match fitness, we might see a start for Eric Bailly and Phil Jones in central defence. Jones, especially will look to commemorate this week with a solid display and a clean sheet after signing a contract extension till 2023.

Luke Shaw will start at left-back.

MIDFIELD

Nemanja Matic deserves a rest before facing PSG on Tuesday but the fact that Fred and Perreira haven’t travelled with the team might see a double pivot in operation today.

In that case, Paul Pogba and Ander Herrera could start in midfield with defensive solidity not really high on the agenda from the get-go.

This might facilitate a start for Juan Mata in midfield albeit in an advanced position behind the striker.

ATTACK

Things might get tricky in attack with options aplenty for Ole. But he will also have to be mindful of the rhythm his players are in, especially Marcus Rashford who is in prime form. Thus a start for the Englishman looks likely up top with Anthony Martial and Jesse Lingard on either side of him.
