Manchester United will have to wait until the summer transfer window to sign Fiorentina star Nikola Milenkovic for €50 million, it has bee claimed.
The Serbian international has been linked heavily with a move to Manchester United in recent weeks as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer seeks a good replacement for Antonio Valencia who is clearly past his peak.
United have had defensive issues this season and though signing a right-back might not solve a problem, it does start the process that might get the club to where they were before their title drought.
Fiorentinanews.com, however, have claimed that Milenkovic will not be sold in the on-going transfer window, meaning United will have to wait until the summer to get their man.
It’s likely that United could wait as Diogo Dalot has shown promise in recent weeks and Solskjaer should give the full-back a few more opportunities and see how good he can eventually become.
