Liverpool will play their first game at Anfield in 2019 when they host Crystal Palace in the Premier League on Saturday.
The Reds returned to winning ways against Brighton in their last game and will look to make it two wins in as many games against Crystal Palace, a side who have caused a few problems to the Reds over the years.
Jurgen Klopp does have a few injury worries, though, so the team might not be at its strongest come Saturday.
Klopp told a press conference that Gini Wijnaldum and Trent Alexander-Arnold will be assessed ahead of the game and the duo haven’t been completely ruled out yet.
Alexander-Arnold’s possible return does come as a surprise as he was ruled out for four weeks a few days ago.
Joel Matip and Adam Lallana are back in training as well, and the former is in line to start. Liverpool had to use Fabinho in a makeshift centre-half role against Brighton, but it looks likely that he might return to his midfield role.
Defence
Alisson has been consistent in goal and should start in between the posts once again. Joel Matip might return to the starting lineup and partner Virgil van Dijk at the back. Whether or not Matip will play the entire 90 minutes remains to be seen.
Andy Robertson recently signed a five-year contract with the club, and he should keep his place at left back. In case Alexander-Arnold doesn’t make it back in time, James Milner could fill in at right-back.
Midfield
Fabinho is expected to play as the holding midfielder and should Wijnaldum fail his fitness test, Jordan Henderson might play alongside Fabinho.
Naby Keita had a good game the last time Liverpool faced Crystal Palace, but we expect Klopp to stick with Roberto Firmino in a number 10 role.
Attack
Sadio Mane and Xherdan Shaqiri are expected to line up on the wider areas, with Mohamed Salah leading the line for the Reds.
The Egyptian’s penalty was enough for the Reds against Brighton but he did miss a good opening late in the game.

Henderson – Fabinho
