Crystal Palace earned a point after their 2-2 draw with Arsenal at the Selhurst Park. Luka Milivojevic scored twice from the penalty spot for the Eagles.
Here are the Crystal Palace player ratings:
Wayne Hennessey 6/10
Got a touch on the Xhaka freekick and perhaps he could have done better.
Patrick van Aanholt 7/10
The left-back ran tirelessly up and down the pitch and teamed up well with Wilfried Zaha to test Hector Bellerin and Stephan Lichtsteiner.
Mamadou Sakho 7/10
The former Liverpool centre-back was resilient at the back and was cool and composed while dealing with the likes of Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette.
James Tomkins 7/10
Tomkins kept a close eye on Lacazette in particular and dealt with him well as the Frenchman didn’t have time on the ball to steady himself.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka 8/10
It was a memorable game for the young full-back who kept Alex Iwobi quiet.
James McArthur 6.5/10
The midfielder was neat and tidy in the middle of the park but didn’t have an overly spectacular game.
Luka Milivojevic 7/10
He struggled while dealing with Iwobi at times but maintained his composure and dispatched two penalties.
Cheikhou Kouyate 7/10
Kouyate did a terrific job in aiding his side’s attackers with his driving runs. He earned the first penalty for his side.
Wilfried Zaha 8/10
He was arguably Crystal Palace’s most dangerous outlet while going forward. His skill and pace were too much to handle for Arsenal and he won a penalty late in the game after he forced Xhaka into making a clumsy challenge.
Jordan Ayew 4/10
Ayew was booked early in the game and he was lucky to be on the pitch despite his needless challenge on Lucas Torreira.
Andros Townsend 6/10
He caused all sorts of problems for Xhaka and was dangerous on and off the ball. However, some of his touches were not up to mark.
Max Meyer 6/10
He came on the pitch for McArthur with about half an hour to play and made a notable impact.
Alexander Sorloth 7/10
Sorloth replaced Ayew in the 64th minute and brought a lot of energy to his side’s attacking endeavours.
Jason Puncheon NA
He came on for Kouyate with just three minutes left on the clock.
