Predicted 4-4-1-1 Brighton Lineup vs Wolves: Murray A Doubt

Brighton and Hove Albion will look to extend their winning run to three games when they host Wolverhampton Wanderers this weekend. The Seagulls secured narrow wins against West Ham and Newcastle in their last two matches and are one of the most in-form teams going into matchday 10.

As for Wolves, they endured a disappointing defeat to Watford last weekend and will be keen on returning to winning ways.

Brighton and Hove Albion team news

Brighton will miss out on the services of key midfield Davy Propper, who is still suffering from an ankle injury. Pascal Gros is doubtful along with Glenn Murray, who was subbed off after just 16 minutes in the last game after picking up a head injury. Defender Bruno is also doubtful after a back injury forced him to make way for Bernardo in the second half against Newcastle.

Predicted Brighton lineup vs Wolverhampton Wanderers

Defence

Mathew Ryan was one of the stars of the show against Newcastle last weekend, making six saves. He will start in between the sticks for the Seagulls on Saturday.

Bruno will take a late fitness test and if he doesn’t make it in time, Bernardo could deputise for him. Gaetan Bong will be deployed on the opposite flank. Bong will be looking to work on his ball retention, especially after being dispossessed five times against the Magpies.

Shane Duffy and Lewis Dunk will retain their place at the heart of the Brighton defence. The defensive duo played a key role against Newcastle, helping their team hold onto their slender one-goal lead. In fact, they ended up combining a whopping tally of 34 clearances, six tackles, and three interceptions while winning 15 aerial duels.

Midfield

With Davy Propper out injured, Beram Kayal will continue to deputise for the Dutch midfielder. Kayal scored the winner against Newcastle last weekend and will be full of confidence when he partners Dale Stephens in midfield.

Anthony Knockaert could return to the starting eleven after being benched last weekend. The former Leicester City starlet will be deployed as the right-sided midfielder with Jose Izquierdo starting on the opposite flank. Alireza Jahanbaksh could get a  few minutes in the second half.

Attack

Solly March will be deployed as the lone attacking midfielder, just behind the main striker Jurgen Locadia. The latter could lead the line for Brighton with Glenn Murray looking doubtful.

March has created the second most number of chances in the team this season and will be a key component in attack especially with Pascal Gros likely to remain on the sidelines.
