As per latest reports by CalcioMercato, Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas is unhappy with how things have transpired under the stewardship of new manager Maurizio Sarri. Fabregas is reportedly considering leaving Chelsea.
The Spaniard has been cornered by Sarri and he is yet to feature for the Blues in the Premier League this season. Summer arrivals Jorginho and Mateo Kovacic have pushed Fabregas down the pecking order and as a result, he hasn’t received enough time from Sarri to ply his trade on the pitch.
Fabregas’ contract with the London based outfit is due to expire at the end of the season, and he is seriously thinking of leaving Chelsea in the January transfer window.
Italian giants AC Milan are keen to lure the 31-year-old into their ranks, and they might land him for a very nominal fee.
The former Arsenal and Barcelona midfielder has had a successful spell at Chelsea after signing for them in the summer of 2014. He has won two Premier League titles, one FA Cup and one League Cup with his current employers and it will be interesting to see what lies ahead for him.
