Chelsea have carved a tremendous start to life in the Premier League under the tutelage of their new manager Maurizio Sarri. After the exit of Antonio Conte earlier this summer, Sarri was lured to the managerial hot-seat at the Stamford Bridge to take the London based outfit in the right direction.
The Blues have managed to bag four wins from their four league outings so far, with their recent fixture ending in a 2-0 home win over Bournemouth yesterday. Although it is too early to ink a verdict, there is no denying that Chelsea have shown the credentials of a potential title contender.
On the pitch, the players are plying their trade with a lot of fluidity and Sarri’s tactics have been yielding adequate dividends. Chelsea winger Eden Hazard has admitted that he is enjoying playing under the former Napoli boss. Hazard is now in his seventh season at Chelsea and has already scored two league goals this season.
Speaking to Chelsea TV after his side’s win over the Cherries, the Belgian international said: “I like to have the ball. Not in my own half, but in the last 30 metres. I like this type of game. It’s completely different than Antonio Conte or (Jose) Mourinho before.”
